When to Elope in Crested Butte
If you’re imaging a day filled with wildflowers, sunshine, and outdoor adventures, then you’ll definitely want to plan your Crested Butte elopement during the summer months (mid-June to early September). Not only will you be surrounded by vibrant wildflowers as far as the eye can see, but you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to hike, bike, and raft your way through the stunning Colorado Rockies.
While winter may bring snow-covered peaks and world-class skiing, it’s definitely not for the faint of heart! If you’re planning a skiing elopement, want to snow-shoe, ride snowmobiles or curl up with your partner in a cozy cabin the winter could be for you! With less foot traffic on trails you’ll have views all to yourselves.
